Fonts have no hinting in Chrome on Windows?

In Windows XP, Chrome fonts are ugly. How to enable font hinting / smoothing fonts edges?

For Windows XP: In “Display Properties” -> “Appearance” -> “Effects…” -> Enable ClearType.

And then restart Chrome.
