DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the FreeFem++, FreeFem++-nw, FreeFem++-glx, FreeFem++-mpi and FreeFem++-cs commands. This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has detailed documentation in the manual; see below.

FreeFem++ is an interpreter for the FreeFem++ language, a language dedicated to the finite element method. It provides a simple way to solve Partial Differential Equations (PDE). FreeFem++-nw is its text-only version, FreeFem++-x11 its X11 version, FreeFem++-glx its OpenGl version, FreeFem++-mpi its MPI version and FreeFem++-cs its GUI version.
The extensive manual of FreeFem++ is written in LaTeX and it is available in Postscript format in /usr/share/doc/FreeFem++/ on your hard disc.

AUTHOR

This manual page was written by Alexis Darrasse <darrasse [at] ortsa.com>, for the Debian project (but may be used by others).
