NAME
mate-power-backlight-helper – helper application for MATE’s power management backlight control
SYNOPSIS
mate-power-backlight-helper [ –help ] [ –set-brightness ] [ –get-brightness ] [ –get-max-brightness ]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the mate-power-backlight-helper command.
mate-power-backlight-helper is a helper utility for controlling the backlight of TFT displays via the MATE power manager userspace daemon.
The mate-power-backlight-helper requires to be run with root privileges.
OPTIONS
This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-‘). A summary of options is included below.
–help- Show summary of options.
–set-brightness BRIGHTNESS_LEVEL- Set the given brightness.
–get-brightness- Get the current brightness.
–get-max-brightness- Get the number of brightness levels supported.
